Founded in 2003 by Black Creek and Mexican partners, MRP is a company focused on investing, developing, acquiring and operating real estate projects. We are leaders in the evaluation, planning, financing, structuring, acquiring land, construction, commercialization and executing real estate transactions in Mexico.

In 18 years, MRP has committed, developed and managed more than USD $ 1,450 million in institucional capital within 86 projects located in 25 states of the country.

To date, MRP's portfolio is made up of real estate assets in sectors such as: retail, offices, mixed uses, hotels and hospitality and industrial, all of which makes us one of the largest real estate asset management platforms in the country, by attracting resources from 5 institutional funds; the last two with capital from Mexican Pension Funds (AFORES) through CKD's.

2003 - 2005

  • Funds:

  • • 1st Project: Panamericana with total GLA of 17,000 sqm.

2007 - 2009

  • Funds:
  • • Fund II: USD$102 million.
  • • Fund III: USD$306 million.
  • • MX$ 7,700 million invested in 23 properties with a total GLA of 516,000 sqm.
  • Projects:
  • • Acquisitions: Galerías Diana, Fashion Chihuahua with a total GLA of 70,000 sqm.
  • • New Developments with a total GLA of 164,000 sqm: Gran Patio Texcoco, Patio Guaymas, GM 490 (Gómez Morín), Gran Patio Zaragoza, Gran Patio Pachuca.

2011 - 2013

  • Funds:
  • • “Fondo IV (CKD I)” por MX $5,000 M.
  • • Divested 49 shopping centers, the biggest Real Estate transaction in LATAM
  • Projects:
  • • Openings: Gran Patio Patria, Gran Patio Tlaxcala, Ecatepec, Jesús del Monte.
  • • New construction on mixed-use projects with a total of 100,000 sqm of GBA: Patio Universidad, Patio Santa Fe.

2017 - 2019

  • Funds:
  • • Fund V (CKD II) USD$102 million.
  • • Divested 16 shopping centers and two pieces of land.
  • Projects:
  • • Openings: Patio San Angel, Portal Veracruz, Portal Cuautitlán, Portal Durango, Portal Centro, Portal Fresnillo, Portal Tlalnepantla.
  • • Sale and Lease back transaction
  • • Of an office portafolio with an total GLA of 75,000 sqm.

2019 – to date

  • Funds:
  • • Acquired 2 retail projects in Mexico City and luxury hotel in Rivera Nayarit.
  • Projects:
  • • Current Projects under construction: Portal Querétaro, Portal Cd. Valles, Portal Tultitlan, Portal Britania, Insurgentes 1122.
  • • Openings: Portal Veracruz, Portal Lagos de Moreno.
  • • As of today, MRP has developed and acquired 86 projects with a total of 1.7 million sqm of GBA.
